Nothing like last minute projects... I seriously ran out of time this week as I was putting things together for a Mother's Day brunch tomorrow. I ended up spending the whole day in the kitchen today putting together two desserts (more about that later) so I was huddled over my craft desk tonight to finish off my Mother's Day cards.
The first one is for my cousin (who's more like an aunt to me). I debated buying Bikahbella because I didn't really think I'd use it but I love how this turned out. My cousin and her husband are serious bikers and take a major road trip every year. I think she will get a kick out of this...
Supplies: Cardstock (Bazzill), Patterned Paper (Cloud 9 Design), Ink (Adirondak, Versa), Stamps (Amuse Artstamps, Stamping Bella), Bella Baubles, Cuttlebug embossing folder.
This is a card from my Grandma. I messed up a bit on the sentiment but I'm going to post it anyway because - hey - not every project turns out as well as you would hope. In any case I know my Grandma will love it because she's my Grandma!!!
Supplies: Cardstock (SU!, PTI), Stamps (PTI, Amuse Artstamps), Patterned Paper (Crate Paper), ribbon, Ink (Palette)
I also made these little altered tins for Mother's Day gifts. They are filled with handmade cards for a variety of occasions that they can use when they need to.
Supplies: Tin (Provocraft), Paper (Making Memories, My Mind's Eye), Border stickers (My Mind's Eye), Diecut letters (Quickutz), ribbon, flower, rhinestone brad.
