PTI Bloghop!

So I decided to participate in the PTI bloghop this month and here is my entry. The challenge this month was to use score-lines in your project.

Score lines always remind a little bit of quilting (must be the sewer in me), so I thought I'd make a little card to look like a paneled baby quilt for a little girl. I marked off the centre square on the back of my cardstock and then scored around all four edges. Then I flipped my card 45• and added additional scorelines, flipped it 180• and added more going in the other direction to make up the centre of my "quilt". I then put little coloured blocks around the edge to mimic a pieced border. I used my Cuttlebug and nestabilities to cut out the centre part of the lamb's body and then backed it with a little piece of minkie, which I often use in baby quilts. Then I stitched the card on my sewing machine, added the sentiment and voila!

The stamp set is PTI's Punny Valentine.

Thanks for looking!

Supplies: Cardstock (PTI, Bazzill), Ink (Palette), Stamps (PTI - Punny Valentine), Punch (SU!), thread, Minkie fabric, Patterned Paper (Piggy Tales).
